Almond Cake

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cup sugar

3/4 cup melted butter

2 eggs

1 teaspoon almond extract

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 cup flour (lightly spoon the flour into the measuring cup)

Use a hand mixer and blend your sugar and melted butter.  Add the eggs, almond extract, and vanilla.  Combine with the flour and salt and pour into a 9” greased round pan (it’s easiest to get out of a spring form pan but any round pan will do!).

Back at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.  Let cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
